Elder is a remarkable tree- the branches have a soft pith that runs through the center which gives it unique properties for making craft items.

This activity is great fun and also helps you get you 5 ways to wellbeing:
1) Get Active - Elder trees can grow in hedgerows, parks and scrub land, take a walk to fid the perfect piece of elder for your whistle.
