The Fool and the Wizard

This story was written by one of the UK's most loved writers, Enid Blyton.

In this tale of trickery a great Wizard snatches a young prince and vows never to return him until the king can answer three riddles.

All the wisest people can't solve the riddles but an unlikely character is given a chance to take on the Wizard.

After the story work together with you family to solve these other nature based riddles:

  1. I touch your face, I'm in your words, I'm lack of space and beloved by birds.

  2. First you see me in the grass dressed in yellow gay; next I am in dainty white, then I fly away. What am I?

  3. What has roots that nobody sees, Is taller than trees, Up, up it goes, And yet never grows?
