The Beautiful Butterfly
Have you ever held a butterfly in your hand? It requires a great deal of patience and tenderness, and when you experience that special moment it brings great joy. Butterflies are so very delicate and light but their beauty is bold and bright and extravagant, it is one of natures most remarkable creatures.
In this combination we use story to capture the magnificence of the butterfly and inspire us to create butterflies of our own. The nature activity introduces us to the Lost Words and we use the story of the butterfly to explore different animals and plants and weave our own poems and stories. The family yoga resource takes us on the journey of the butterfly from egg to the magnificent colourful sky goddess.
