We love to decorate our door each season with a different wreath to represent how nature is changing all around us.
In autumn we collect an abundance of colourful leaves and other nature finds to create a really simple wreath. In this resource we show you how it's done using only a few simple resources. This resource is suitable for people of all ages and a great way to add an extra element to your family walk in the woods.

This resource is great fun but also provides a boost to your wellbeing by helping you:
1- Get Active- enjoy your autumnal walk through the woods to collect your leaves.
2- Keep Learning- there are so many different leaves to choose, see if you can identify them as you collect.
3- Be Mindful- The task of making the wreath encourages you to stop and sit together in the woodland. Use this time to practice mindfulness, play some mindful games and try to listen to the bird sounds, notice the changing light and try to identify how you feel as the day moves on.
4- Practice Kindness- Make two wreaths and gift one to your neighbour.
5- Think Community- Take a litter picker with you as you go and make your community a nicer place for all.
