It's autumn time the floor is carpeted with an array of beautiful leaves and there is a cool chill in the air. We love to gather around the campfire at this time of year and having a fire opens up many more opportunities for crafting.
In this resource we show you how to make an autumn leaf garland by creating waxed leaves.
This resource is great fun but also provides a boost to your wellbeing by helping you:
1- Get Active- enjoy your autumnal walk through the woods to collect your leaves.
2- Keep Learning- there are so many different leaves to choose, see if you can identify them as you collect.
3- Be Mindful- Adding a campfire to your activities adds a whole new dimension. Take a moment together to look into the dancing flames, you don't have to look for anything, just gaze without purpose.
4- Practice Kindness- Make two garlands and gift one to your neighbour.
5- Think Community- Take a litter picker with you as you go and make your community a nicer place for all.
