Use this calming bedtime yoga session to gently ease the day out of the body preparing you and your family for bed. It’s soothing pace and star filled theme makes it suitable for all to take part.

1) Get Active - moving our bodies gently before bed can ease out any tensions that may have manifested during the day and helps allow our bodies to release them.

Yoga - Mindfulness with Pebbles & Stones

This session is inspired by the beautiful book A Handful of Quiet by Thich Nhat Hanh.


It's a wonderful family friendly mindfulness practice that connects art, nature & us. This practice tends to have the whole family feeling really calm, grounded & open afterwards. If it's suitable for you, then take this activity outdoors to gain all of natures benefits.

Items Required: Paper - you will need four pieces of paper per person Something to draw with - be that a pen or pencil, crayons, colouring pencils, pastels or paints - choose whatever you have at home.

Pebbles - I like to use a mixture of natural found stone, river polished glass & semi-precious stones. Yoga - Mindful Flower Gazing

In this session you learn a lovely accessible mindfulness technique known as flower gazing. Flower gazing can bring about a relaxation of the body and mind whilst putting our 'busy mind' to use noticing all those unique features that come with each glorious flower. You can use any flower out in nature, perhaps clover or a daisy or dandelion. Flower gazing is best done with a single flower per person than a bunch of them or a sprig of blossom from a tree. Otherwise, you could also take one from your garden, a potted flower or from a bunch of bought flowers - the choice is yours. If you find that your busy mind wanders, don't worry about it, be kind with yourself, remind yourself that to be distracted isn't failing, it's doing what your mind is used to doing.
